Animal Behavioral Trainer

What they do: Teach animals how to act in response to different conditions or stimuli. Training is conducted for entertainment, protection, detection or companionship.

What they earn: $36,000 is the median salary with one to four years of experience.*

Animal Caretaker

Animal Welfare Lawyer

Zoo Director

What they do: Organize and direct zoo operations. This position includes everything from analyzing the annual budget to organizing the special care of animals.

What they earn: The average starting salary for zoologists is $28,000, increasing to $36,000 after five years.

Animal-Assisted Therapist

What they do: Study behavioral patterns in animals and apply techniques to improve mental, social and physical issues within humans through animal/human companionship.

What they earn: Median annual earnings of physical therapists are $60,180, but the concentration of animal-assistance may increase or decrease earnings. Some animal-assisted therapy is considered volunteer work.

      Helt enig! Savner mer aktivitet, ironisk nok, siden jeg ikke har vært aktiv her på snart 20 år. Hadde vært moro å hørt hvordan det gik nå med alle «gamle». For min del handler det nok litt om at småbarnsliv og jobb har tatt mye tid, og det at jeg har vært hundeløs i en del år. Å når jeg skriver n innser jeg også at det handler om at jeg ikke sitter å surfer på pcen lenger, forum fra mobil er ikke helt det samme.

      Hadde vært gøy med litt mer aktivitet her inne ja. Føler jeg ser det der ute i den virkelige verden også, er synkende aktivitet på mange arenaer. Her går det fremdeles i hund og konkurranser, mest RL.

      Veldig synd egentlig at det er blitt sånn. For det var himla gildt her en stund.  Lurer også på hvordan det går med de eldre brukerene, og lurer på om de holder på med hund fortsatt.

      Det er et helt greit alternativ for hunder som ikke tåler kylling. Man må nesten prøve det på egen hund for å se om det funker. Jeg har prøvd det bare for gøy, hverken eller synes min hund

      Tror en vanlig golden hadde passet dere ypperlig, bare vær nøye med linjene. En flat coated hadde også fungert bra.  Jeg har jaktgolden, og har hatt , og kjenner flere. Jeg tror ikke det vil passe for dere, de trenger mer arbeid. En god golden er vel så bra. Dere kan vurdere labrador, de har ofte mer futt i ræva:) Men vær obs på linjer med alt for tunge hunder, og noen hannhunder kan være skikkelig hannhunder med mye hormoner.
