Really not that extreme, but this climate calls for fleece-lined tights, a thick base layer, a windbreaker, a balaclava, heavy clothes, shoe covers, and big insulated gloves. They're only a little light, so they really never freeze as easily. I am not sure about you, but this seems like great news in my experience.
